Gavin Shulock

Gavin is originally from New York, but most recently lived in Colorado for a few years before moving to the Charlotte area with his fiancé. He has had a passion for working in sports his whole life, with previous jobs at the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic committee and USA Triathlon. Some of Gavin's favorite hobbies are swimming, cycling, running, and hanging out with his two dogs and fiancé.

Kevin Thompson

Kevin is a 27 year old professional Obstacle Course Racing athlete. He is originally from Michigan, but decided it was too cold and moved down south. He loves being involved in a new sport like Ninja and can't wait to see how it'll grow in the next few years.

Bailey Gilmore

Bailey is a native North Carolinian and was a ballet dancer for 15 years. She has now traded her pointe shoes for ninja shoes and is the mini heroes coach at Ninja Nation. In her free time, she enjoys rock climbing and hiking.

Yancy Dearly

Coach Yancy (aka: The LOL Ninja), was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland where he grew up doing competitive cheerleading, swimming, and baseball. After moving down here with his family he worked two years as a gymnastics coach! His favorite part of being a coach is seeing someone nail a skill they've been working hard to master!

Jenna Shaw

Jenna has been active in the ninja community for 6 years, and loves helping others reach goals. She coaches the athletes to overcome obstacles physically and mentally. She is a mom of four kids, and loves being outside doing almost anything active. She did gymnastics for much of her young years, and has been in a trapeze show in Mexico. Her favorite candy is Trader Joe’s sour gummies!

Ben Sanderson

I'm from Wilmington North Carolina, where I cheered recreationally and competitively for 9 years. I am currently pursuing a double major in environmental studies and geography from UNC Charlotte and love to spend my free time either at the gym, spending time with friends or singing with my a cappella group!

Ronin Halliday

Ronin is a Senior at the Charlotte Teacher Early College at UNCC. He is currently pursuing a Major degree in Exercise Sciences (Strength and Conditioning), and has been working with Ninja Nation for close to two years. Ronin loves working with new students to get more people into Ninja! In his free time he loves to weightlift and hang out with friends!
